About the Position

Summary

This hybrid sales/content creator position combines the drive and hustle of an entrepreneur with the creative storytelling skills of an engaging digital marketer. The sales duties will be responsible for selling our service software and marketing platform to tourism brands on Cape Cod, also developing new partnerships outside of our already established network. You will then tell the story of each tourism brand you now represent on our digital marketing platform.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Convert sales opportunities to sales

  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads

  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects

  • Create, plan, and deliver presentation on our app

  • Track all sales activities and keep current by updating account information regularly

  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to entire sales team

  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects

  • Publish Four (4) Preseason tourism blogs

  • Produce engaging digital brand content

  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort

It would be great if you have:

  • At least three years’ experience in a sales, marketing, or similar role in a Tourism/Hospitality company

  • Strong preference for a candidate with a successful track record of developing new business accounts and revenues in tourism/Hospitality.

  • Strong knowledge of the travel industry and a thorough understanding of the impact Covid has had on the industry. Basic understanding of the guest experience is crucial.

  • Ability to operate remotely in a startup atmosphere that requires thinking on the fly, hands-on implementation, optimal use of limited resources.

  • Successful conversation record via video conferencing.

  • Able to close business and drive accelerated growth extremely quickly.

  • Self-starter – individual needs to be proactive and persistent in achieving the company’s customer development, relations management, and business objectives.

  • Strong communication skills within and outside the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in google drive

  • 2 years of hospitality experience

  • Must have a computer, wifi, headphones with speaker

  • Travel required for conferences, account visits, up to 25%.

90-Day Probationary Period

  • $500/month paid as a base salary

  • Four (4) tourism blogs need to be published before 5/1/22

  • Fifteen (15) tourism brands need to be acquired within 90 days

  • 25% commission on these transactions will be paid as added compensation

  • As soon as twelve brands are acquired this probationary period ends

Post Probationary Period Compensation

  • 45% commission on any accounts acquired On Cape Cod

  • 4% of in-app purchases with any Cape Cod brand partner
